Henning Löhlein

After growing up in Germany, Henning spent three years studying in the South of France, under palmtrees by the sea, before he came to Bristol, where he finished his BA, followed by a MA in illustration. Since then he has been illustrating for newspapers and magazines, from the Financial Times and the Guardian to Country Life. The animals he drew in those magazines needed more space, and he started illustrating children's books. He has illustrated more than 30 books, which have been published in more than 10 countries.
