Marc-Uwe Kling

Marc-Uwe Kling is a songwriter, political stand-up comedian and author living in Berlin. He studied philosophy and theatre science at the Freie Universität Berlin and since 2003 has been a guest at various reading events and poetry slams all over Germany. He is a two-time German Poetry Slam Champion. His previous books for children include The Day that Granny Broke the Internet (Carlsen, January 2018), Der Ostermann (Carlsen, October 2017) and Prinzessin Popelkopf (Voland & Quist, 2015).
